Latest reviews of HailCast - Hail Alerts, Severe Weather & Push Notifications app for iPhone and iPad

Highly inaccurate
Dont waste your money on this. Getting alerts saying 40 percent chance of hail in 10 min, even when no storms close by. What a gyp.
Hail alerts when its clear skies
Really? Random hail alerts for no reason. Very inaccurate, try again developers. No alerts when there is hail.
Caution !! This is a 3 month subscription
Caution !! This is a 3 month subscription! I paid $10.99 for a. Bundle of 4 weather apps. No indication that it was only for 3 months until AFTER purchase was made! Thats why only 1 star for an otherwise useful app.
Way too many false warnings
Compared to the reliability of lighteningcast app this one is a big disappointment. 98% of the warnings are false alarms. Most of the time they come during completely clear skies. Forecast would be 0% chance of rain and then this app says 90% chance of hail! Ugh!
Hailcast not up to Usual Weathersphere Standards
I own many of the other Weathersphere apps and rely on them daily. As indicated by the other reviews the number of false positives is astounding. I receive alerts daily, often with clear blue skies. I set my preferences to receive alerts no more than once per hour and just received five in the last nine minutes! This app does require a subscription, one that I will certainly no be renewing.
